The essence of Blues:
a powerful and emotional show, where tradition and modernity blend
into an intense and captivating musical experience.
Described by many as an explosive mix of feeling and talent.
An Argentine guitarist, singer, and composer, Gabriel Delta is a true musical traveler, able to intertwine cultures and sounds that originate in the heart of the Mississippi, cross Africa and Latin America, and reach Europe and the rest of the world.
A free, passionate artist, with a personal and profound vision of the blues and its endless contaminations.
With over 35 years of career, Gabriel Delta has built a consistent and internationally rich path, establishing himself for his authenticity and for a personal musical language that fuses the guitar blues of the golden era (B.B. King, Albert King, Freddie King, Otis Rush, Muddy Waters etc.) with the inventiveness of be-bop, the power of funk, the groove of rhythm & blues, and the warm colors of Latin rhythms.
Born in Buenos Aires, he fell in love with the blues after listening to B.B. King and soon made a name for himself in the Argentine music scene with his band Los Delta Blues, with whom he recorded five albums.
In 1996, he studied traditional blues with John Primer during his visit to Buenos Aires — a historical figure of Chicago Blues and a direct heir of Muddy Waters’ legacy.
In 2003, he moved to Italy, settling in the heart of Europe, where he became a prominent figure on the continental blues scene.
He has traveled throughout Italy, performing in historic clubs, theaters, and festivals from north to south, bringing his music to every corner of the country. He regularly performs at major European festivals and clubs, and his music has been featured and reviewed worldwide, carrying with it the soul of the blues and a repertoire that combines tradition and innovation.
In 2016, he participated in the Chicago Blues Festival, performing both solo and as a guest of Fernando Jones Band on the Front Porch Stage.
In 2017 and 2018, he toured with Billy Branch, the legendary Chicago harmonica player, during his performances in Italy, further strengthening his bond with the authentic roots of the genre.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage at international festivals and clubs with true legends of blues and soul, such as B.B. King, James Cotton, Taj Mahal, John Primer, Watermelon Slim, Roy Rogers, Larry McCray, Melvin Taylor, Tony Coleman, Eugene Bridges, Fernando Jones, Bruce Ewans, Otis Grand, and Billy Branch, confirming his artistic stature at an international level.
He has released 13 albums — five in Argentina and eight as a solo artist in Europe — and has taken part in numerous compilations and collaborations.
His commitment goes beyond music: for over 25 years he has taught guitar and music, collaborated with specialized magazines in Argentina and Spain, and donates part of the proceeds from his albums to charitable projects.
Gabriel Delta is not just a musician: he is a bridge between cultures, a storyteller of the blues who keeps reinventing himself without ever losing his soul. Every concert he plays is an emotional, authentic, and engaging journey.
